Planning Board Meeting 

8/1/2013 

 

Members present: Ryan Dunphey, Wayne Daye, Garry Wells and Liana Sinclair 

 

Meeting called to order at 6:41pm 

 

Items discussed: 

 

o Ryan, Garry and Liana went to Mike Campbell’s property to look at how many cars are on 
his property. Voiced concern regarding how many vehicles are on his property and how that 
will be dealt with. 
o Discussed the Home Car Repair Shop special use permit. The next step is to present it to the 
Town Board at their next meeting for their feedback. 
o Mike Campbell had submitted a permit and was denied because his current business is not 
permitted in our zoning code. “He has been operating his business in violation of the code” - 
Ryan. This would be a special use permit in all of the Agriculture zoning. We would not 
grandfather Mike. This was never legal therefore he has to start at square one. 
o Voted on the Special Use Permit for the Annual Mineral Show for the St. Lawrence County 
Rock and Mineral Club.
